Title: Foreman (Grading and Utilities)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary Range: $1500-$1900 /weekly

Tiello has partnered with a leading Heavy Civil Contractor who is looking for a Foreman (Grade and Pipe) in Charlotte, NC who focuses on Commercial / Residential Sitework.

Project Types: Commercial / Residential Sitework and Roadway

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all Underground Utilities and / or Grading on construction projects assigned
• Extensive knowledge in water, sewer, storm
• Supervise and coordinate construction workers
• Oversee and manage one crew
• Needs to be able to operate multiple pieces of equipment such as the excavator, skid-steer, front-end loader, as well as motor-grader if possible.
• Successfully transfer a benchmark
• Ensure adherence to project specifications and deadlines
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control
• Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry
• Needs to be able to operate GPS - Topcon and Leica
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction techniques
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to mentor, develop, and grow foremen on the team to get promoted
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
