Job Overview: The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and establishing strategic relationships within the commercial roofing industry in the Atlanta market. This is a key leadership position, requiring a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales management, business development, and team leadership within the construction or roofing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the company’s market share in the commercial roofing industry.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients, general contractors, and architects to secure long-term business opportunities.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing contracts and post-sale client management.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, estimating, and project management to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Drive and implement best practices for sales processes and customer relationship management.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the commercial roofing or construction industry.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performance sales teams.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing products, services, and the construction industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales goals.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
