Director of Operations (Electrical Construction)

Tiello has partnered with a leading Electrical Contractor that is looking a Director of Operations (Electrical Construction) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of the electrical construction division that is currently growing rapidly.
This role involves managing projects, teams, and resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Manage and mentor project managers, field supervisors, and support staff to foster a high-performance team.
- Project Oversight: Oversee electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget compliance.
- Operational Strategy: Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize resources and reduce costs.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and all local, state, and federal requirements.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication throughout project lifecycles.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor`s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 10+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and financial skills. Experience with electrical construction systems and project management tools.
- Certifications: PMP or similar certification is a plus; electrical contractor’s license is preferred.
- Experience running and managing a large division. 40-50 Million dollar P&L
Physical Demands:
- Occasional travel to job sites and ability to work in varied environments.
