Job Title: Director of Field Operations (Commercial Masonry Construction)

Location: DFW, TX

Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000

Company Overview:

Tiello has partnered with one of the nation`s leading commercial masonry contractors who is looking for a Director of Field Operations to oversee the construction of commercial masonry projects valued anywhere from $10-50MM in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area.

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of field oversight experience in structural concrete and / or masonry and will be responsible for managing project financials, risk management, and client relations.

Project Type:

New Construction, ground-up masonry projects - Retail, Office Buildings, Hotels, Multifamily, Schools, Arenas, etc. ($10M-$50M)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to all field superintendents, foremen, and crew leads across multiple commercial masonry projects.
• Ensure all projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Oversee and coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources across all active job sites.
• Partner with project managers to ensure manpower and field operations align with construction schedules.
• Enforce strict adherence to company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and site-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to ensure quality control, compliance, and productivity standards are met.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve field productivity, cost efficiency, and crew performance.
• Help forecast labor needs and field capacity to support long-term company growth.
• Serve as the face of the company on jobsites; maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, and trade partners.
• Assist in resolving jobsite conflicts, change orders, and issues related to field execution.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 5+ years of field oversight experience in commercial masonry construction
• Proven track record managing multiple crews, superintendents, and large-scale commercial masonry projects (schools, warehouses, retail, tilt-wall, etc.)
• Deep understanding of masonry construction methods, materials, sequencing, and equipment
• Experienced with Procore and any other related construction software
• OSHA 10 and/or 30 Certification
• Willingness to travel or pass background/drug screen
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
