Company Overview:

Tiello is partnered with a highly regarded local Hospitality & Commercial General Contractor based in Phoenix, in their search for an experienced Construction Superintendent (Hotel Construction) to lead successful Hotel, Industrial Tilt-Up, and Commercial Ground-Up Construction Projects.

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the Hospitality & Commercial General Construction Industry and will be responsible for leading successful Construction Projects.

Hospitality, Hotel, Industrial Tilt-Up, and Commercial Ground-Up Construction Projects

Job Responsibilities:

• Able to perform all essential Lead Superintendent job responsibilities
• Oversee daily operation of construction projects
• Attend and participate in Safety Training Program and enforce safety procedures
• Prepare and maintain responsibility for job schedule
• Develop Owner, Architect, and other Contractors` confidence and attend meetings as required
• Review all drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Chair and/or attend ongoing Contractor meetings
• Assure work quality - set standards for quality control
• Order materials and tools and plan supply allotment to maintain schedule
• Prepare necessary reports (e.g. timesheets, work orders, daily reports, and invoice approval)
• Document and complete all punch lists in a timely manner
• Organize, train, direct, and coordinate field construction team including those of other contractors
• Perform start-up testing and turnover to clientele

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 4+ years as a Superintendent managing projects for a reputable Commercial General Contractor
• Experience supervising Hotel, Industrial Tilt-Up, and Commercial Ground-Up Construction Projects.
• Scheduling, RFI`s, Change Orders, Submittals Experience
• Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills
