Position Title: Traveling Commercial Roofing Superintendent
Location: Based out of Florida – Travel Required Throughout the Southeast
Salary Range: $80K-$85K
Tiello is excited to partner with a highly respected and fast-growing commercial roofing contractor to find an experienced Traveling Commercial Roofing Superintendent. This position will require regular travel across the Southeastern U.S. to manage multiple roofing projects. You’ll oversee execution from start to finish—ensuring safety, quality, budget control, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew of 3–6 employees (Foremen and Laborers) across various job sites.
- Build and manage daily labor schedules; travel between jobs as needed.
- Control project budgets, purchase orders, and overtime.
- Enforce all OSHA and fall protection safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot jobsite issues; step in hands-on when necessary.
- Ensure all drivers maintain a clean MVR; company vehicle and gas card provided.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and internal teams to ensure performance goals are met.
- Monitor and report on KPIs including quality, safety, and cost.
- Visit job sites regularly before, during, and after project execution.
- Attend weekly site meetings and coordinate production priorities.
- Mentor and support Foremen and crew members.
- Maintain a strong culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years experience in a Superintendent role, with 2–3 years in the roofing industry preferred.
- Strong background in leading field crews and managing multiple projects.
- Fluent in English; Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High school diploma required; college education preferred.
- Strong communication skills and leadership presence.
- Safety-minded with a proven track record of OSHA compliance.
