Tiello is partnered with a family-owned Commercial Roofing Contractor in Savannah, Georgia in their search for an experienced Superintendent for the SE region of the US.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Commercial Roofing field supervisory experience managing multiple jobs and crews.
Projects: New roofs and re-roofs
Job Duties include:
- Quality Control on all job sites to include inspections on a regular basis
- Conduct inspections with manufacturers
- Daily communication with field employees & subcontractors
- Monitor and report field progress of employees & subcontractors
- Order materials & schedule deliveries
- Coordination of proper PPE with employees
- Coordinate equipment deliveries
- Track & coordinate all field equipment (tools, scaffolds, etc.)
- Attend weekly progress meetings
- Conduct hand-off meetings with Foremen & subcontractors
Requirements:
- Potential candidates must be willing to submit to a preemployment drug screening to be considered for hire
- Clean driving record (no DUI’s or super speed tickets in the last 5 years)
- Minimum of 3-5 years in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Forklift and aerial lift experience & certifications are a plus but not required
- 10-hour & 30-hour OSHA training are a plus but not required
