Company Overview:

Tiello is excited to partner with a highly respected and fast-growing Commercial Roofing Contractor based in Brighton, MI in their search for a Commercial Roofing Service Technician to support their service division across the MI.

Role Summary:

This is a hands-on, field-based role focusing on leak detection, repairs, and warranty work for commercial properties. The ideal candidate has experience in roofing service work, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset. This position offers the opportunity to travel, grow within a supportive team, and contribute to a reputable and expanding contractor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, etc.)
• Perform service work including emergency leak response, patching, and maintenance
• Handle daily service tasks and warranty issues with minimal supervision
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding scope of work and repair recommendations
• Document work via smartphone/tablet with before/after photos and detailed reports
• Ensure full safety compliance with company and OSHA standards (fall protection, PPE, etc.)
• Collaborate with teammates and office staff to complete service tickets
• Maintain professional appearance and company vehicle, if assigned
• Support team success by assisting on other service calls as needed
• Demonstrate initiative, integrity, and accountability on every jobsite

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial roofing or service repair experience preferred
• Ability to identify roof issues and implement effective repair solutions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with mobile reporting tools (smartphone/tablet apps)
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR (if driving company vehicle)
• Knowledge of OSHA safety protocols and fall protection requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
