Commercial Roofing Service Sales
Location: Columbus, OH
Compensation: $85,000–$90,000 base + commission
Position Overview:
Tiello is partnering with a growing commercial roofing contractor in the Columbus market to hire a Commercial Roofing Service Sales. This role is ideal for a proven service-focused sales professional with experience selling maintenance programs, service agreements, and restoration solutions while building long-term client relationships and recurring revenue.
Qualifications
- Proven experience selling commercial roofing service agreements, maintenance programs, and roof restoration solutions
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roofing service sales or business development
- Strong outside sales background including prospecting, lead generation, and relationship management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal development
- Ability to manage client relationships and drive repeat business
- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial roofing service market
- Build and maintain relationships with property managers, facility managers, and key decision-makers
- Develop and present service agreements, maintenance programs, and restoration proposals
- Conduct job walks and site visits to assess roof conditions and client needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate scope, pricing, and execution
- Present solutions, negotiate terms, and close service sales
- Ensure contracts and service agreements are properly documented
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction through clear communication and follow-through
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, service programs, and maintenance solutions
- Confident presentation and negotiation skills
- Consistent ability to close deals and drive revenue
- Solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements
- Successful completion of background check, drug screening, reference checks, and motor vehicle record review
- Experience using CRM tools for pipeline and client management
- Ability to attend multiple site visits for assessments and follow-ups
