This critical leadership role focuses on managing the service department’s operations, ensuring timely and high-quality service for clients, and driving departmental growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, dispatching, and overseeing service crews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow the service department, including marketing initiatives and client retention programs.
• Oversee project budgets, ensuring profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of service projects to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and timeline expectations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate estimates and secure service contracts.
• Train, mentor, and lead service department staff to achieve professional growth and departmental goals.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with industry standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (service department experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, and Modified Bitumen.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive client and team relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in CRM and project management software (experience with FCS or similar platforms is a plus).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
