Position: Commercial Roofing Sales / Estimator

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Local Travel)

Compensation: Base Salary $80,000–$100,000 + Commission

Includes: Company Vehicle, Gas Card, and Full Benefits

Tiello is actively seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Sales professional with estimating expertise to join a nationally recognized commercial roofing contractor in their Phoenix office. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a proven track record in production sales who wants to build and manage a strong book of business. This position focuses on developing new business, estimating re-roof and new construction scopes, and strengthening relationships within the local market.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell and estimate production roofing projects in the Phoenix metro area
  • Build and maintain relationships with building owners, property managers, and GCs
  • Generate and manage a book of business with a target of $5M+ in annual production sales
  • Conduct site visits, perform takeoffs, and prepare detailed estimates and proposals
  • Collaborate with estimators, superintendents, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Represent the company with professionalism, technical expertise, and strong client focus
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to local growth initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial roofing sales and estimating
  • Proven success selling $5M+ annually in production roofing projects
  • Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Mod Bit, Foam, Metal)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, conduct takeoffs, and scope jobs independently
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Local market knowledge and existing industry relationships in Phoenix preferred
