Position: Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Roofing

Location: San Antonio, TX

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + Benefits + Growth Opportunity

Tiello is proud to partner with a highly respected and growing Commercial Roofing Contractor in the San Antonio, TX area to hire an experienced Assistant Project Manager. This role supports the project management team in executing reroofing and repair projects across commercial, federal, and municipal sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Support: Assist PMs with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of commercial reroofing projects
• Estimating Assistance: Help prepare estimates, review specs, and perform takeoffs using project management software
• Documentation: Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages
• Communication: Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to maintain project timelines
• Site Coordination: Visit job sites to assist with field logistics and ensure work aligns with plans and specs
• Procurement: Track material orders, deliveries, and inventory needed to support job progress
• Compliance: Help maintain project compliance with safety, insurance, and federal/municipal requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing estimating or project management
• Experience working on federal and/or municipal projects preferred
• Strong understanding of roofing systems (TPO, Mod-Bit, EPDM, coatings, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with estimating/project management software is a plus
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Team player with a growth mindset and interest in taking on more responsibility over time
