Business Development Representative – Commercial Roofing

Locations: Houston, TX

Territory: Regional focus with ability to pursue and manage national accounts

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven and confident Business Development Representative to join our team and lead growth in commercial roofing sales. This is a relationship-first, owner-direct sales role — not a GC bid-chasing position. You’ll be building long-term relationships with decision-makers and securing high-value contracts in commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.

Your Mission

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with:
  • Property managers
  • Building owners
  • Facility directors/managers
  • Asset & portfolio managers
  • Represent our brand with professionalism in the boardroom, on the golf course, and on the jobsite.
  • Manage complex, long sales cycles while keeping clients engaged and loyal.
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to deliver profitable solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven closer: You have 5+ years in commercial construction sales (roofing preferred) with multi-million-dollar annual sales results.
  • Industry savvy: Experience in commercial roofing or related high-ticket building services (HVAC, waterproofing, facade restoration, solar, etc.).
  • Hunter mentality: You know how to get into the rooms where decisions are made and keep the door open for repeat business.
  • Confident presence: Comfortable in high-stakes negotiations, socially sharp, and not afraid to ask for the sale.
  • Self-driven: No handholding needed — you manage your pipeline, follow up with precision, and always look for the next win.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 (depending on experience)
  • Uncapped Commission potential for high performers
