Tiello is proud to partner with a highly respected and fast-growing commercial roofing contractor in the Phoenix area to bring on an experienced Commercial Roofing Business Development Manager. This pivotal role focuses on driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and positioning the company as a leader in the commercial roofing industry.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base in commercial roofing.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Collaborate with the estimating and project management teams to create accurate and competitive proposals.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales activities, pipelines, and performance metrics.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, roofing systems, and best practices to effectively present the company’s value proposition.
Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company goals and client needs.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the commercial roofing or construction industry.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, and Modified Bitumen (preferred but not required).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in CRM and sales tracking software (experience with Salesforce or similar platforms is a plus).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
