Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Salisbury, NC

Hourly: $21–$24/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Tiello has partnered with a Commercial Roofing Contractor in Salisbury, NC, that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to their growing team.

This person will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations while promoting the company’s core values of honesty, safety, quality, and teamwork. You’ll handle everything from verifying invoices and managing vendor files to preparing payments and supporting audits — all in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and code invoices

• Enter and upload invoices into the system

• Prepare and process electronic transfers and check runs

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements

• Maintain vendor files and collect W9s

• Prepare sales tax returns and 1099s

• Assist with month-end closing and audits

• Manage company credit cards and expense reports

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting or AP experience (construction experience preferred)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word)

• Experience with Acumatica or UKG is a plus

• Self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow
